How do I prevent duplicates?
Choose a stable identifier and a rule for existing records. This may be an ID, email, SKU or another suitable key, depending on the destination.
Do I need Apex Export?
No. Import can be used independently. Files from Export can simplify a round trip after checking the mapping.
